Do you think the church is pushing back against the gates of hell? Well, Jesus said, “Upon this Rock I will build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” There is no social group or community who can push back against the gates of hell. The good news, only the Church of Jesus Christ can push back against the gates of hell. Satan is very real, and the Bible tells us in John 10:10, “the thief comes but to steal, kill and destroy…”
Satan is out there to stop us. He wants to kill our joy, steal our spirit and to destroy our future. But there is good news, with Christ in our lives we are more than conquerors. Oh, and we are the Church! On Christ the solid Rock we stand and the gates of hell will not prevail against us!
