Wow, did you watch the Super Bowl Sunday afternoon? It was one of the greatest championship games I have seen in a long time! Finally, a king has been crowned in the NFL. Now, I’m not a New England Patriots fan but I give them props. Do you know why the Patriots won the game and Tom Brady won his 4th Super Bowl and his 3rd MVP?  Other than a bad play called by the Seahawks! The Patriots won because they played with Passion, Discipline, Commitment, and Sacrifice!  They left it all on the field.

Are you doing that in your life? Are you leaving it all on the field or do you give up one snap to soon? We are all guilty of that in some way or another. I know there have been times in my life where I have played hard but maybe have given up one play to soon and didn’t get the victory! It hurts but you learn from it. I want to challenge you to stay focused on the things you are Passionate about. Discipline yourself and Commit to being or becoming the very best you can, knowing that you may be required to Suffer in order to be victorious.

When it comes to the things that concern God and your relationship to Him, the same things are involved. If you hope to be victorious in your walk with Christ you must have a Passion for knowing God more, you must be Disciplined to spent time with Him, Committed to that time and relationship with God, and understand that you will be required to Suffer on occasion because the devil desire to tempt you in every way. SO, CHILD OF THE ONE TRUE KING, I’M TALKING TO YOU…HANG IN THERE, DON’T GIVE UP, AND KEEP SEEKING AFTER KING JESUS!!!!

“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14
