Have you ever been on a long journey that was unorganized and full of twists, turns and obstacles? Maybe you considered that an adventure! I love a good adventure but you must be aware of the potential for disaster. It’s very easy to be led down the wrong path, and then before you know it, you find yourself submersed in danger! It sounds fun, but the potential for danger is often overlooked and even viewed as life.

I say yes, life can be fun, dangerous, and full of twists, turns and obstacles. However, you don’t have to allow yourself to be led down the wrong path while on your journey called life. So I want to give you some tools to carry with you. First, you need to know where you are going. What is your destination, why are on the journey, what is its purpose? So you must know your destination. Second, you must have a map that can help you from point A to point B. While the destination may be marked with an X, you need the map to know how to find the treasure. And finally, you need a guide, someone who has traveled to road and knows the way. You need a leader, someone to follow.

So, the next question to ponder is, do you know your Destination (Heaven/Hell), do you have a Map (God’s Word/worldly advise), and do you have someone to follow (King Jesus/Deceiver). You have opinions, just remember, there is only one set of tools that can lead you safely to your Treasure!!

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to Father except through Me!’” John 14:6
