I’ve been sitting at my desk for the past hour trying to decide the direction God wants us to go with our messages and at this point I’m not completely sure. I want to begin a message series through the book of Galatians, however with summer quickly approaching, children getting ready for break, and families preparing for vacations, it seems premature to start that exposition. So as I type this article I’m trying to listen to God’s voice.
On a positive note, I’m amazed at how our Great God provides for our every need! It has been so wonderful experiencing God’s blessings at FBC with you. He has blessed us with many new members both by letter and through baptisms. God is most definitely doing great things on our behalf and all we can do is to bask in His grace.
As we experience His blessings let us not forget that we as a church must keep our eyes firmly fixed on the One from whom all blessings flow. I believe God has great things in store. I believe we are on the beginning of something great. I believe as we focus on the things of God and the lost in our world, that He will do immeasurably more than anything we could do or ask .
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him all creatures here below;
Praise Him above ye heav’nly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
