the stitchers
"The Stitchers" are a quilting group who meet every Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. in the mission house. They were organized in 2006 and started out making quilts for the church nursery. Their mission is to make quilts to comfort those who are in need. They have made quilts for many of our "home bound" members of the church and those who have been in the hospital. They have also made quilts for members of the church who are in the Chester County Nursing home, Southern Oaks Nursing Home, and Jackson Oaks Nursing Home. They have recently quilted two tops and donated the proceeds to the church building fund. They have sold two quilts and have some quilts for sale. Many materials have been donated to "The Stitchers."
