About Our Pastor

Bro. Brad grew up in West Tennessee where he came to know the Lord at an early age. He is a graduate of Union University, Jackson, Tennessee. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree he received his Master of Arts in Theology and Master of Religious Education from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia and his Doctorate of Christian Education 2013.

He  has been preaching since 2001 and pastored two other churches before coming to First Baptist Henderson in June 2010. He is a passionate communicator of God’s Word and his greatest desire is to see lives changed through faith in Jesus Christ.

Brad and Tracy reside in Henderson and have three children, Caitlyn, Ty, and Ellis.

Some fun facts about Bro. Brad: He married the love of his life at age 20 (he married way above his ability), He boxed golden gloves (before he got old), got his first motorcycle at the age of 4 (what were his parents thinking?), loves to water ski, and loves anything that deals with VOLS football (you can hear him yelling all the way in Knoxville).
